Not sure that 21st century people might know what a chiming clock sounds like, if I have guessed what was on the maestro’s mind. I suppose “ar” means “harmonic”, too?

I started with it 2 or 3 weeks ago and wanted to post it before I take a break from this piece. And also, by the way, the score says “miz”, a term I cannot find any reference to in music dictionaries.
So far, the “effect” of the harmonics plus the hammered left-hand only notes sounds very much to me like one of those old 19th century chiming clocks. Harmonics with the right hand, the triplets with left hand only. Our website is made possible by displaying online advertisements to our visitors.

But you do not have to hammer only. This is my best shot aborada far: The Alta Vista Babelfish translator says Alborada means”dawn,” but a Peruvian co-worker of mine said Alborada means “forest. As for what Tarrega was thinking of with this one, well!
