Due to extremely limited stock on some of these, I may not be able to honor all requests for trios.

I am looking at. Not much distortion at all. These compress a lot more, too.
Limiting the voltage on the resultant output becomes a low-voltage op-amp problem, simple and safe. Like the black band but more touch sensitive. Great decay from breakup back to clean.

Please check the fatasheet sheets for Fv characteristics. For monitoring current in an AC power line, a non-invasive sensor such as SCT datasheet linked might address your requirement:. Would be great in a tubescreamer or bluebreaker, or as a clipping option in the Aristocrat. If I find a good deal on a lot on Ebay, I might be able to offer some for sale.
They are cheap but I never know what I will get. Lackluster as a distortion generator, but they could be very useful if you want to add compression to a circuit and you can source them.
voltage clipping – Clip signal with very low threshold – Electrical Engineering Stack Exchange
I recently put them in a Harmonic Percollator and they were pretty much godly in there — aggressive, punchy, no fizz at all, and yet still full of warm germanium flavor. These have extremely good treble response. Controlled; highs are a little attenuated.
I’ve edited my question. Home Questions Tags Users Unanswered.
In many cases the voltage drop is unimportant, as the panel is run in close to constant current mode with excess voltage available in most cases. I need to get some for a Pharaoh build. Sign up using Email and Password. First edit Here is my current schematic: The clipping threshold is fairly high for this diode closer to. How can I better calibrate the components values to get even closer to the threshold? These are outstanding diodes. Note that R1, R2, R3 and R4 need to be the same value.
Some more mids-focused breakup. Sorry, I like them too much and only have a few. Really friendly to in-between positions on a strat.
Leave this field empty. Reacts well to dynamics. But unfortunately I can’t use a sensor of this type because I can not find it easy to buy, then that would make an international purchase, which would take weeks to deliver. Now I just have to remember where I picked them up! Like other Schotkeys, they do this weird thing where it sounds like the clean signal is hiding behind the clipped signal.
One of my favorites. Persumably that would provide a certain amount of clipping to any signal rather than just clamp at vclamp?
Smooth just still balanced. Is there some other specification dayasheet requires the use of the shunt resistor approach? But when the datasheet is below the threshold, the output is slightly lower than the input: There is a Ukrainian package that looks slightly different. Anindo Ghosh 46k 7 84 I need a solution that uses simple components, because where I live they don’t have a big component variety and to buy those components on the internet it takes more than one month to arrive.
I also show the waveforms for V1 and V2 for the mV case the two funky waveforms running across the middle.
