By the way, although I have read and still occasionally use Smyslov’s endgame virthoso, I was a bit disappointed by it. I want to state this is not one of those “how to” Endgame manuals in the traditional sense.

Karolyi vortuoso about how when he was a trainer for Leko that the main thing that they worked on in the endgame was to go through many of Karpov’s endgames.
