Also went to Tobshiba support – very hard to figure out where drivers were – and eventually downloaded from there, installed, rebooted, still did not work. Updates automatically with Windows Update. So thanks to CNET. BUT I cannot say, with any certainty, that it was a Realtek problem.

Summary I dislike it because you lied and it doesn’t work. For some reason, all of a sudden my Toshiba rtl81187b could not access Internet from home; tried at other Wi-Fi sites that used to work, but still didn’t work.
