Its first Webbook took the VIA C7 processor route, but it has come around to the Intel Atom approach and this latest Webbook is an utterly vanilla netbook that could easily be mistaken for an Asus Eee Eebbook when given a sideways glance.
On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper. I’ve done this on my desktop pc not with UNR and it worked fine after lots of fiddling around with grub, boot flags etc.

While Elonex has done nothing wrong as such with its ‘webbook’, it’s hardly inspiring in its choice of design. Webboo incredible, but enough to get work done on a normal train journey.
